Privacy Policy
Effective: October 20, 2026
In short
- We collect no personal information.
- Your video and tags are stored only on your Mac.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
This policy explains how Masaya Kobayashi (“we”) handles information in Keyscene, an app for Mac (“the app”).
1. Information we collect
The app does not collect personal information. It never connects to the internet, and it never sends your video, tags or settings to us or to anyone else.
2. Information stored on your Mac
Your video, project files (scenes, labels and notes), templates, playlists, settings (keys, language, window positions and so on) and backups are all stored on your Mac.
In the Mac App Store version, the app saves the locations of files and folders you choose (bookmarks) in its settings, so it can use them again the next time it opens.
You control this data and we cannot see it. Deleting the app does not delete project files you saved in a location you chose.
3. Analytics and advertising
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
4. Information handled by Apple
Apple handles information about purchases and downloads from the App Store. See Apple’s privacy policy for details.
If you have turned on Share with App Developers in your Mac’s settings, Apple may send us crash reports when the app quits unexpectedly. These reports do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.
5. When you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to investigate the problem, and we do not share them with anyone else.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
